I am not a professional, but I have upholstered several pieces of furniture. Rockford Supply has been my go to for supplies for several years now. I purchased the 1” CushionCraft poly wrap batting and couldn’t be happier. It is denser than other batting I have used. It is easy to work with and doesn’t pull apart or shred when pulling it taught. In fact, I have to cut the waste, because it won’t pull apart that easily. It has a nice loft that isn’t going to compress as easy as less dense batting. I have attached a photo showing it in comparison to a similar thickness batting. It is the batting on the left. I will buy this again and I do recommend it. To add to that, I recommend Rockford Supply. I know that I can order in the evening and it will be shipped the next morning. Lucky for me, I live in Nebraska. I have always received my orders within 2 days.
